Core Supports
Core supports are flexible types of support that are central to your ability to live comfortably and independently. They can be provided a few times a week or around the clock. Cedars’ care workers will help you to prepare nourishing meals, keep your home clean and tidy, maintain personal hygiene and help you with mobility in the house or in your community. You will be assigned a care team that understands and respects your culture and lifestyle preferences. Make use of our valuable core support services to get on your way to functional, supported living.

Capacity Building
If you’re eager to start living your full potential but not sure how to make it happen, you’ve come to the right place. With Cedar’s capacity building services you can explore your innate talents and abilities and acquire new skills to help you live autonomously. Whether your goals include higher learning or securing your dream job or dream home, we can guide you, providing compassionate and professional support along the way. Learn life skills, how to use public transport or how to cook, plus a whole lot more.

Community Access
Having a sense of belonging is extremely important for your overall wellbeing and mental health. By having access to social activities and events in your community you will meet like-minded people, make new friends and have fun along the way. We aim to make community participation accessible for all NDIS participants in Greater Western Sydney, including the CALD community. We hvae great networks throughout Western Sydney and can find activities that support your cultural beliefs, your talents and interests, and that are available in your language.

Community Nursing
Cedars Disability Services is a fully registered provider of community nursing services throughout Greater Western Sydney. Our highly qualified nurses provide professional clinical care in your home according to your schedule. We deliver a range of nursing care including complex bowel care, enteral feeding, tracheostomy management, urinary catheter management, subcutaneous injections, diabetes management, complex wound management, ventilator management and more.

Plan Management
Our plan management service at Cedars is designed to help you stay on top of your funding, use it to access the most beneficial supports, and manage invoices and payments. Our experienced plan managers will make sure your supports are paid for on time and provide regular reporting on your available NDIS funds. Support Coordination
At Cedars, we offer Level 2 Support Coordination which refers to the actual coordination of your supports. One of our friendly, approachable support coordinators will sit down with you to understand what you expect from your NDIS plan and explain how your funding can work for you. We help you navigate the NDIS in your preferred language and we help you exercise choice and control over your supports. Together, we plan the ideal roadmap that will take you closer to achieving your goals.
